Portugese photographer Manuel Mira Godinho uses building facades to showcase his love of abstraction in everyday life. Through his depictions of reflections, lighting, and physical textures on each building he portrays, Godinho creates individual compositions that form abstracted forms of themselves. Each photograph displays a structure that visually turns into a pattern that momentarily tricks the viewer into forgetting that it is in fact a building that they are seeing.
More Doctor Who ideas.
So I’ve always liked the idea of multi-Doctor episodes of the show, but something about the way Doctor Who does them sometimes bugs me. While yes, watching 10 mirror 11 and nerd out about brainy specks in the 50th was great, the time breaking and plot holes with this scenario make my head hurt.
Now, what if we had two Doctors, but neither saw or spoke each other? The shows Highlander and Forever Knight, while not being about time travel, were about longevity. The stories are told partially in flashback, Duncan and Nick ofter see something in the now, that reminds them of something in the then. Why couldn’t the current Doctor face a problem, reminisce about a past adventure that is very similar, and here’s the fun part, neither adventure effects each other directly. I feel like if they were to do that today, 12 + 8/War Doctors would be very interesting (and an excellent way to get both of them more time as the Doctor on screen). Thoughts?
this is what they thought 2015 would be like in the 80s
i’m sorry we have failed you
We still have time to make it that way.
